Adult and Adolescent Counseling Services was founded by Cynthia MacDonald in 2001. With a Master’s Degree in Psychology, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who is also Certified in Addictions.

Her treatment method is direct, solution-focused, yet empathetic.

She specializes in anger management, abuse, addiction, depression/anxiety, stress management, life transitions, pain management, brain injury recovery and rehabilitation psychology.

She treats individuals, couples and families.
She is the counselor for Ross Montessori Charter School in Carbondale.
She is an approved therapist for the Crime Victim Compensation Program for the Ninth Judicial District.
